Very Good

Brasserie was delicious amenities were fancy. Very comfortable stay. We'd return.

Split mattress in our room.2 beds pushed together, still had a decent gap between them, it definitely couldn't be considered a single bed. We booked for the pool, it unfortunately broke that day!!! But we got to use it the following day

Blooming blooms.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent, well run facilities. Beautiful building and stunning location.

It would useful to be aware that if you choose the cheapest room package, that's what you get. Small, with minimal storage space and hooks. However, friends in other rooms were happy with theirs!

Quite a special place in a good location.

Pool, spa and sauna were great. Nice 'common rooms' and a bar for relaxing or socialising outside of bedrooms. Good breakfast. Good access to walking tracks and cycling tracks through the forest and to the beach and sand dunes.

Quiet woodland setting for a good nights sleep.

Beautiful woodland setting, creating a lovely calm atmosphere. Lovely pool, new infrared sauna and small hot tub were all enjoyable after a long cycle ride.

The meals available seemed highly overpriced so didn’t eat there.

We didn t take breakfast because we thought 39 euros for two is too expensive.We only take a small breakfast.

There were nt enough daybeds outside the Pool.

Great stay in the beautiful dunes of Bergen!

Beautifully located in the dunes of Bergen. The lounge, bar, restaurant are all great facilities. Wellness was closed due to renovation works -- which was announced beforehand and compensated for (bottle of wine). Breakfast choice is very good. Do make sure to visit their Zandhoeve restaurant for dinner: all local and organic produce!

The bed felt a bit tired and worn out. The bathroom walls are painted in stead of tiled; felt a bit cheap. Both are minor points though.

Nice long weekend out in Corona time

Blooming is located at an excellent location, right at the edge of the dunes and also within a short walk from the picturesque town of Bergen. It was Corona time when we visited and the staff did their utmost to accommodate all guests with the maximum comfort while keeping an optimal safety. We had an "unlimited" room, which was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Not an enormous problem and we know that the staff was improvising to make the best out of the situation, but the Corona-related one-way traffic was not clearly signposted, causing people to meet each other on narrow (winding) stairs. Also, even though we clearly communicated that we wanted to reserve a table on Fr, Sa, Su, they initially booked a table on Th, Fr, Sa. After correcting and at check-in, it appeared that we had a double reservation on Fr and Sa which stayed in their system until it was corrected at check-out. Not an enormous problem and it was corrected but at the same time it seems a bit clumsy for a professional hotel at the upper end of the market.

Very welcoming and well organised!

The location is very nice. Pretty close to the village and next to the forrest. The staff is very welcoming, organised and friendly. The hotel is very clean, spacious and cosy. Our room was nice and clean. Facilities are good and well arranged, especially now during Corona.

The only minus was that our room was next to the dining room. Due to Corona there are well organised shifts. From the early morning on guests are waiting in line and talking, next to our room. It was noisy... Earplugs did the trick for the next morning.

Solid hotel.

Clean modern rooms, efficient check in, free parking. Good staff at brasserie / terrace. Good breakfast. Good quality bar food.

Minor issue: smell of kitchen seeps into the room via the air ducts. Not a lot, but noticeable. Covid measures at breakfast were a bit chaotic.

A lovely hotel with a couple of quirks during these COVID times

I loved the room and it’s cleanliness, staff were super helpful and everywhere was COVID-19 proof with hand gel everywhere. Sadly not all guests are as considerate .

I thought €7,50 surcharge for room service was very expensive. Also the rental bikes are very old and in desperate need of an upgrade. Even though everything was COVID thought of the 12 people in the pool area was a lot. One night it was just 5 of us and even with 5 it is impossible to keep the proper distance. It freaked me out and I left. Not a very relaxing experience. Also the breakfast buffet was too busy, and guests weren’t all respectful of the distance. Not we’re all staff members. I feel the hotelstaff can do more to make guests feel safe and set the correct standards.

Very Good

Amazing location-the hotel is in the middle of a beautiful forest, 6 km from dunes and the beach. The staff is great, friendly and accommodating and helped us a lot. The hotel has very relaxing common areas, terraces and yards, good wine collection and a great restaurant. Breakfast had many options and was included in the price. You can easily rent a bike and go explore the area.

We booked very last minute and too the only thing available-three single rooms, so should not complain-but the rooms were really tiny, the bed was not fixed to the floor properly, it was either extremely hot or - if you turned on the AC-freezing cold, and the price to room ratio was very high for Netherlands. Due to current situation, you need to book all the services-breakfast, swimming pool access-for time slots, make sure you do it early on.

Overal it was good

Simple basic breakfast. The restaurant menu was a bit boring and not really a great dinner. The rest of the hotel was good and the area is amazing.

Have a look at the restaurant. Better dishes, more exited menu, more choices and more service.

Breakfast was less beautiful than our last stays. Hygiene coronavirus was n t as good. No obligation to use disinfectant gel at entrance and everybody was using the same serving spoons. Srrving staff not wearing mask

Within the coronavirus potential spread, at the swimming pool no obligation to shower! No soap in the shower. Children jumping in the swimming pool though very small sign forbid it. What was great the diff time zones for swimming!
